Face2Face (F2F) Peterborough version was run by Linda Woods who moved to Somerset last autumn. This was about helping people feel good or make adjustments to their colours, clothes, make up, use paraben, petrochemical & mineral free skin products, have massages, etc.
Currently Gaynor Spence runs colour analysis & make up sessions at the Wallace Centre in Cambridge & said she was going to start these for PCH patients under the name ‘Colour with confidence’. She stocks her own supply of skin products.
Who can benefit from this?
Any woman who has had a recent cancer diagnosis (not just breast cancer) can benefit from this service, plus those women who may still be receiving treatment (surgery, chemotherapy or radiotherapy) even though they might have had their original diagnosis a while back.
Tell me more:
There is an opportunity for two sessions; one with a leading high street brand and the other a salon who will use organic products. It's your choice whether you take advantage of just one or both sessions (which are held on separate days). Each session should last approximately two hours.
Do I need to bring anything with me?
Yes it would be helpful if you could bring along the make-up you currently wear as the therapist can give you advice on this. Make-up will be supplied and you will learn techniques for day and evening wear. If you normally use brushes, it would be helpful if you could also bring these along - although brushes will be supplied if you don't use them. You may want to consider bringing along a soft drink too due to the length of the session.
Where will these sessions be held?
Our venues are Serpentine Green and a salon off Eastfield Road. Further venues may be added at a later date.
