There was no formal meeting in September as the Group had a meal out at The Bluebell Pub in Werrington. Thank you to all those who came and for making it a lovely event. Thank you Carole for booking the pub.
Important Events:
One of our members Diana is hosting a fun day on Saturday 8th October at St Michael’s Church, Mace Road 11.30am to 15.00 hrs. If you have any suitable items for a tombola and raffle please bring them to the October meeting. The fun day is being organised to raise funds for research into triple negative breast cancer. It is a wear it pink event. An adult’s only evening on the 18th November at Powerleague, Stanground. This will be a drag bingo evening to raise funds for the same charity.
Coming Up:
6th October 2022 – Rosie Collcott – Lead Nurse Lymphodema will be attending to give a talk and answer any questions.
3rd November 2022 – Munashe Munyukwi – New Macmillan Cancer Engagement Lead for Beds, Cambs and Herts will be coming to the meeting to give a talk on services available via Macmillan.
1st December 2022 – buffet and secret Santa
