Welcome to May’s Newsletter and welcome to our new members who joined us on the 1st May 2025:
Guest Speaker: Catherine Cuttriss Anita UK Ltd
Our guest speaker was Catherine Cuttriss, Area Sales Manager for Anita UK Ltd., which was founded 140 years. The company is based in Germany. They provide high-end lingerie and swimwear. Catherine brought with her a selection of bras and breast forms and explained that she runs clinics at various hospitals in the UK so women can get properly fitted for bras and can get advice on the most appropriate bras and breast forms to use after surgery. One of their outlets is Eloise in Milton Keynes at 23 Shirwell Crescent, Furzton, Milton Keynes.
A group trip is being organised to Eloise in June/July (date to be confirmed with Eloise). The morning will be spent at Eloise, followed by lunch at a nearby pub. Numbers will be limited so everyone gets sufficient time with Hazel/Jean. If you are interested in joining the Group trip please let Helen Saggers know either via the WhatsApp Group or email: helen.saggers@ntlworld.com There is plenty of parking on site, however, we will car share.
Strawberry Tea 28th June
This year’s Strawberry Tea will be held on the 28th June 2025 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm. The tickets are £5 each. There will be a tombola and raffle. A member of the Group is kindly hosting the Tea. The event is open to family and friends. The address is on the tickets and will be posted on the WhatsApp Group. The funds raised from the event go towards the running of the Group to include our Xmas Meal this year. We need items for the tombola and raffle, so can you please bring any donations to the June meeting.
Other Events
The Ryhall Cancer Support Group have their next meeting on the 14th May 2025. Their guest speaker on the 14th May is Sarah Sheppard, Lead Community Cancer Nurse who works in Cancer Services Northwest Anglia NHS Foundation Trust. She will be talking about the side effects of cancer treatment including chemotherapy and radiotherapy as well as hormone treatments.
